Guidelines For Improving Staff Adaptation
According to studies carried out by western companies, a qualitative adaptation programme can reduce the turnover rate of 10 to 20 per cent per year. Usually, natural or unregulated adaptation lasts up to one and a half years, but when properly managed, it is reduced to several months. It is clear that most organizations do not pay sufficient attention to the staff adaptation process.
Adaptation management is an active influence on the factors that predetermine its progress, timing, reduction of adverse effects, etc. [2].
To adapt staff to the enterprise, a probationary period is determined, an adaptation system is being developed for young business professionals, mentoring and counselling [1].
We look at the status of personnel management in the area of adaptation management, as exemplified by the Trade Organization of the GS (Gastronomy No. 76). The store is located in the bedroom area of the city. The total area of the store is 500 square metres. The commercial room is 150 square metres.
The average number of employees according to 2013 is 28.
In the area of staff adaptation, each newly admitted staff member is internships for which he is assigned a mentor. This allows for a better and faster understanding of key business processes, learning internal culture. Even one day of work at the store reveals the complexity and responsibilities of sellers, cashiers and other commercial staff.
Each staff member holds a stack at the store, even if he's employed at the office. This is considered necessary, as only in the office shop are better understood by the inside of the store and take account of staff experience in trade management.
We will further consider the performance, impact and intensity of the adaptation of staff in the study organization (table 1).
