Staff Motivations Brief

Biography McCelland
David Clarence McCallland was born in Mount Vernon, New York. His family wasn't poor, but it's accepted to say intelligent.
Therefore, it is not surprising that McCleland has been able to access secondary education and college. The college wasn't the most prestigious, McMurrey College.
In college, young David went to foreign language training. However, once, having received a book on psychology from one of the teachers (historia detracts from what it was for the book), McClealland decided to link his life with psychology.
In the field of psychology, he was very successful in science, and in 1949 he received a professor in Harvard at the Faculty of Public Relations.
Decision-making model is
The model is some simplified description of the real world used to address specific challenges in different fields of knowledge. The model removes non-material details and focuses on the main parameters of the object under investigation.
Simply put, there's a real Ferrari car, and there's a toy that sells at the store. The game is a model.
The decision-making model of the manager is a simplified description of the process that occurs in the organization in dealing with business challenges.
Decision-making stages
Classically, five phases of the decision-making process are identified:
- Target setting. It's one of the most important steps. In fact, setting a target is the right question to be answered. This stage is very important because if we are to find a solution to the wrong task, the result will be lame.
- Modelling. At this stage, the objectives are set (why do we have to deal with the task?) and an indicative plan of action is being developed, that is, a model of how we will seek a response to the question.
- Validation of the model. The main question to be answered at this stage is whether all the substantive details of the real situation are incorporated into the model?
- Model application. Attempting the task through a model.
- Model renewal. Refining, clarifying the model. It's a very important phase, too.
Wruma-Yetton's decision model is a situational model.
The central point of any situational approach to governance is a specific life situation, a set of circumstances that have now emerged in the organization.
The leaders of the situational model in management believe that it is not possible to establish a universal system of management of " all cases of life " . Any management model should be supported by a specific business situation.
This theory is also called justice theory or Porter-Lowler's complex theory. In this article, we will briefly consider what it is and how it is applied in practice.
