The transformation of human intellectual potential into a leading factor of economic growth and national competitiveness can be achieved with positive motivation of company personnel. Today, the motivation, involvement and encouragement of staff play an important role in economic progress. The article deals with the concept of motivation, its form, theory, the role of the enterprise 's production cycle. Different management styles, linkages of engagement, motivation and delegation, which reinforce the internal motivation of staff, reduce the cost of products and increase productivity through the exclusion of non-productive losses, including performance control, thus increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of the company as a whole.
